Meet Mr. Smith of Oklahoma – this busy and dapper gentleman of nearly 8 years young needs a new home. He is up to date on all his vaccines and is fully house-trained. He is now on his second home and ITRN hopes to place him in the “third time is a charm” home. Mr. Smith is delightful with two exceptions – NO small kids or NO other animals. He lost his first home because he did not want to share with a toddler and he is losing his second home because he does not care to share his home with the small dog who lived there before he arrived. Mr. Smith is loved by his current family and they hate to part with him but keeping the two dogs separate has set the stage for more alone time for Mr. Smith and as his owner says “he should not have to live like this” and so they asked for ITRN’s assistance in moving Mr. Smith to Washington (or elsewhere) to a home where he will have no competition and a big back yard that he can chase squirrels and birds in. Of course, a water feature would be an added perk! If you want a walking/hiking partner, a lad who likes road trips, and an occasion swim in a Koi pond, Mr. Smith is the guy for you.
